Soft Syntax ASCII Studio

Build a browser-based ASCII art studio named Soft Syntax, with all core functionalities running locally on the user’s device without any data being uploaded to external servers. First, develop a core image processing module that supports users uploading any photograph, which automatically converts the image into a character grid. Add adjustable parameters including output width, brightness, contrast, and selectable character ramp to let users fine-tune the final ASCII rendering effect to their preference. Second, integrate a curated hand-crafted ASCII art archive, categorize all artworks by label for easy browsing, and add a favorites saving function that stores selected artworks locally on the user’s device. Third, develop a dedicated Compose tool that allows users to overlay saved ASCII art pieces onto their own uploaded photos, with support for basic position and size adjustment, then add a full-resolution PNG export function for the final composite work. Finally, design the entire interface following a consistent editorial aesthetic, using warm paper tone backgrounds, forest ink color schemes, and IBM Plex Mono as the default system font, to ensure the interface expression matches the artistic style of the content itself, delivering a cohesive and elegant user experience.
