Cartoon Sketch Challenge

Develop a casual, engaging manga-panel-style casual drawing and guessing mobile app tailored for global users aged 12 to 35, with core gameplay centered on progressive clue-based interaction. At the start of each round, the system delivers concise, character-specific hints one at a time, with each hint gradually revealing unique traits of a widely recognized global animated or cartoon character. Players then use the built-in simple canvas sketch tool, equipped with basic brush, eraser and color adjustment functions, to draft the target character on the blank canvas provided. After completing the sketch, the system presents four fully illustrated candidate characters as options, and players select the one matching both the earlier clues and their own sketch to complete the round. Design 5 distinct difficulty tiers that unlock sequentially as users clear previous levels, with the level progression corresponding to rising recognition threshold and hint obscurity of target characters. The initial character roster for the app must include globally beloved, highly recognizable IP figures covering different cultural regions and age groups, specifically Pikachu, Doraemon, SpongeBob SquarePants, Monkey D. Luffy and Elmo, to ensure broad user familiarity. Optimize the app interface to fit the aesthetic of classic Japanese manga panels, with clear, non-distracting UI elements that do not interfere with the sketching and guessing experience, and add a lightweight score tracking feature to record users’ round completion accuracy and speed, supporting casual short-session usage for entertainment during fragmented time.
